Scope factors, not a price list

What affects small office cleaning scope in a tenant-controlled suite?

The scope of a small office clean depends on which rooms the tenant controls and what can actually be reached in them. This page names the details that change an assessment and explains why this site publishes no amounts.

What changes the assessment for a small suite

Which rooms are the tenant's

A suite lease rarely covers everything a visitor walks through. Private offices, a meeting room and a kitchenette inside the suite may be yours, while the corridor, lobby and building restrooms usually belong to the landlord. Only rooms marked as tenant-controlled can be assessed on your request.

Whether rooms are in use or cleared

A room with staff at their desks is a different job from one that has been emptied. Occupied rooms limit what can be reached and when. Note which rooms will be in use during the cleaning window and which will be cleared.

How much surface can be reached

Papers, devices, cables and personal items on desks limit the surfaces that can be cleaned without handling business contents. Saying whether desks will be cleared changes the assessment more than the number of desks does.

Equipment and items to leave alone

Servers, printers, lab benches, records cabinets and anything sensitive should be named as untouched. Each restriction narrows the scope, and naming them up front avoids surprises on the day.

The cleaning window and entry

After-hours entry, a building office that issues access, or a short window between meetings all affect how a visit is planned. Name the entry contact's role and the hours, never keys or entry codes.

How often the work is requested

A one-time clean and a repeating schedule are assessed differently, because a repeating visit starts from a recently cleaned room. Record the requested frequency even if it is still unresolved.

Why this page names no amounts

Two suites of the same size can need very different work. One may be busy, with every desk covered; another may be half empty with clear floors. A figure published before anyone has read the request would be a guess. This page explains which details change the assessment so your request answers those questions first.

Bravo Maids reviews each request and confirms scope and availability with you before anything is booked. Nothing on this page is an offer, an estimate or a commitment.

Mark the boundary before you describe the work

Start with the floor plan, not the task list. Go room by room and mark each one as tenant-controlled, landlord-managed or unresolved. The tenant cleaning responsibility map, linked below, does this as a printable worksheet. Rooms you cannot confirm stay unresolved rather than quietly included.

The map records what you believe; it does not interpret your lease. If a room's status depends on the lease or the building manager, ask them and note the answer.

Making the first request useful

List the rooms marked as yours, the shared or landlord areas to leave out, the items to leave alone, the requested frequency and the cleaning hours. Mark anything you do not know yet as unresolved. When the list is ready, request a clean and Bravo Maids will confirm the scope with you. For the wider topic, see small office cleaning in San Diego.

Questions people ask

Can I get an amount before the suite is reviewed?

This site does not publish amounts. Bravo Maids reviews each request and confirms scope and availability with you before anything is booked.

Should building restrooms or the lobby be in the request?

Only if you control them or have the landlord's permission. Otherwise list them as left out or unresolved, so the assessment covers the rooms you can actually request.

Does clearing desks change the scope?

It can. Cleared desks leave more surface to reach. Say which desks will be cleared and which will stay covered.

Ready to mark your rooms?
